- WELL DONE for winning 4exp interclass games with a fierce 84 points! *sends two thumbs up to all* i hope we keep this spirit going for all upcoming events if there should be any! (ie uniform dress code, attendance)
- thank you all who came down for our planned friday game! although it turned out to be like a 4exp affair in the end, but i'm glad we had so much fun altogether! it should be like that isn't it! learning from each other's strengths to overcome our weaknesses, and taking every other event like a sharing session! :)

HUGE break through loveeeeees!<3
let's not make this one an emotional post, cause i like to think we should be going all out to extend our utmost congratulations to one of our classmates! yeap, hidden right within ussss loveeeeee!<3
as most of us would have known by nowwww! the dpa applications, for direct entry through special altitudes, interests and talents were up and confirmed seats in any course were up for grabsss ended a few weeks ago! i am certain that being a very well-versed class, many of us took up the challenge &applied for courses (things i heard of were like psychology, aerospace (can you not say WOW!), interior design, accountancy, biomedical engineering, social enterprise etc etc.. and of courseeee, how can we miss out the very infamous chinese media &communications right!) for some, it was one of the most difficult period of time to tide over, waiting for the call to interview come in, even at 12 in the midnight! but whatever the case is, i wish to applaud all of you! i think it is very commendable in a very perverse way that many of us, including myself that is, went forward and took up the challenge, clearly knowing for ourselves how slim chances were. in the spirit of 4C, here's two thumbs up for all of us who trieddddd from before my screen!<3 *sends cyber hug*
here's the bomb kidssssss! SHANTINI GOT THROUGH THE APPLICATIONS!!! WOOHOO! please do our very classic table musical for her pleaseeee! she's chopped this place in rp's sports leisure and wellness courseeee and is already almost a poly student now wahahahaha! i like to think that no matter what (like how miserable you are feeling inside about not being selected and she being), she deserves every pat on the shoulder for a job well done! let's just hope that she prospers and soars in the course of the pursuit and do us proud aites! if i'm not wrong, she's the only one who's being accepted into any poly course in our batch this year so YEAP! :) WELL DONE LOVEEEE!
for those who didn't manage to get through, don't be disheartened aitessss! i hope you all adopt the same attitude that i learnt today too! there's this line that flutters in my head all the time "when god closes a door, he opens a window for you"! there will alwayssss be a way out if you tryyyyy! i know, it's okieee that we emo a bit for a few days but after that it's time to moveee on! instead of feeling upset and sorry for yourself, why not start preparing and get in to the same exact course with the cut-off points right! so stop complaining.. it's not the world's fault that you wanted very much to pursue your interests at all too! :)
find hope.. all the best for tomorrow's results release, hopefully! keeping all of you in my prayers.. :)

I wanna congratulate all of us first things first! am so so so glad that we're leading now for the 4exp interclass games (check sidebar for results!) &we're not even fearing at all that there might be a chance of the others catching up next week! whatever it is, i want the boys who are taking part in the sepak takraw game know that so long as you put in your best &put up a good game, we're still proud of you all the same! and to all the others who lost a game or two you participated in (&of course, received unreceptive comments from the other classes), do not be disheartened aites! you know that even if the world crumbles on you, the rest of us would be here for you all the time! :) remember we're treating this as a sharing session with the other classes, and winning or not is really secondary! of courseeeeee, the contradiction is IF we win, that will add on as a bonus! :)
anyways! i am sure all you are aware that the oral examinations for us are starting on wednesday for $C. whatever it is, again, put in your best &show yourself that we are able to excel academically too :) who says we can't? our chemistry common tests results across the level says it all the time! one of our kids always top the list (and we'll add in the bottom as well, teehee XD)! so do yourself a favour and change the stereotype! if you have not read my note on fb, go ahead! it is my wish that it would drive you on at the end of the day, and i would be most glad if it does okayyyy!
what else.. prelims? let's not bother about what the teachers say this time round, that if you are gonna flunk the prelims, so will you at the exams. we're gonna do this together! i know it's already quite late, but i like to think better late than never! if it motivates you at all, let the results serve as a form of a wake up call aites! &all the best lovesssss, for your MT results release anytime next week okiee! i hope we all reach our targets first time round, BUTTT even if we don't, don't be too upset! i mean yes, it's okay to be upset for a while but we'll find ways to move on! :)
&here's some food for thought for you, if you need some refreshments spiritually!

RACIAL HARMONY!
Somehow we've come up to the 42nd post and this is definitely about Racial Harmony 09'
C'mon you guys and girls, this is the time not to be shy! We've shown how united we've been thru the past events and so now it's somewhat a comeback.
I know not everyone owes an outfit to wear but please, use your brains to think that you can actually borrow it from someone. It's going to an eventful day on tuesday but whatever it is, just wear and bear with it for the few hours in school. This is our last racial harmony together forever and so try to borrow it as soon as possible.. We need to prove to our teacher that we're still united as forever.
So yups, please for goddamn sake borrow it from someone. It's just one freaking day! This is the time where we can snap alot of pictures together!
So yups please! I'm tired to beg any further so yups, if you're a forsee-ian, please please wear or else you'll be outcasted for the day!

AYG Torch Relay Day
Hey peeps! Hope the short break has both rejuvenated you and has also been fruitful! There's two more days to go before we return to school & in case you still check this blog, I would need your help in passing this one on to as many classmates as you can reach! We hope that everyone would be able to get the message and come down together to cheer the crowd on as a class!
We have passed Mr Gary Ong &got his approval for wearing class tee on Monday, which is AGY Torch Relay day in case you've forgotten (or didn't even know!). You may wear the class tee with the school skirt &pants from home. This is a must! Cause our class, together with the rest, would be forming the welcome team which would be welcoming the torch at the foyer! If your dress code is not correct (meaning School U etc.), we might not be able to allow you to come with us at the foyer! Remember, media's coming to shoot HAHA!

DEAD DEAD DEAD!
I finally am bloggin in blogspot, most imptly the class blog after 325872358 years!
Anyway, I find there is some need to get this blog alive again and so I'm doing some part for that.
And bixuan! Please change the bloody blog skin, looking at it makes it so.. tedious
HAH and so well I believe everyone is sort of doing their assignments and not hanging out unnecccesaily unless ur not stupid
(well, bottomlime line is that I am kind of stupid and not everyone in our class in clever but some way or another we all are! ;D )
Anyway let's organise some activties to keep us going as a class.. and it would be fun i believe. chaotic is more of the word. lawlawlawl

DrainingOfBrainJuice Disease
Guys.Theres a recent outbreak of a disease called the DrainingOfBrainJuice Disease(DBJD) going on in the woodlands secondary school graduating class,4c.This is a deadly disease that cause the foresee-ians to drained off their brain juice.As you could see,there is a heavily downpour and strong thunder as well as lightning was heard during the 2-hours mathematics paper1 in 8may2009.This was seen as a symptom of the DBJD going on during exams period.Notes to take:
- Be punctual and manage your time well and steady for exams.
- Do not stress yourself too much.
- Do not stuck on one stupid dumb question if you are unsure of how to do it.
- Always check for the clock.
- Always attempt on easy-peasy question.
- Ask teachers for help till they became tired of you.
- Most importantly is to try your best in every questions.
Lastly,break a leg everyone :D

4C PRIDEEEEEE
Hello too all the belovers!
Could I say this? Im really proud of all the ones who contributed to the Sports Day Championship. If not, this wouldn't be a success. We've shown everyone what capabilities we have and what we can strive in future for other things. We shall all put in the same hardwork for our O lvl and celebrate the aftermath of o levels on 11th November.
Btw, I was really touched by the momentum started of by Sufi under then tent. It was really touching yeah? and followed by Firdaus and all.. So finally we've achieved peace and also made out teacher proud of us.. Let's do the same for chemistry too.. HAHAA.
So no more arguments? Unity ok? ((((:

We all can do better. Its a fact.
After all, we're 4c! ! The champs!
And everyone knows 4c can achieve...
...
For those who did well, well done.
For those who failed their expectations, add oil! !
But. For all of us, ask yourself.
Is this your limit? The best you can do?
Or can you do better?
Will you be content with the results you achieved today or will you strive for the best?
I chose to strive. I'm sure the whole class will to. Right?
For those who didn't do well, getting a few underlines in your report slip is NOT the end of the world. Its just one term. If you didn't meet the grades on your target setting form, its not because you are incapable. Its because you haven't given it your all. There are no failures in 4c. So pick yourself up and show everyone you can do it! 4c!

D-day is finally here!
D-day was good love! ♥
Today was a blastttttttt!
and we were high ttm! short for to the max.
Congratulations on a job WELL done, everybody who were physically there and jumping! :) oh my wordddddd i swear i was really so swept away by a tornado of emotions this morning. the concoction of anxiety and precipitation (not mentioning the heat, which was not in the least making it any better) resulted in success so sweet that many of us want so bad!
So WOOHOO! well done! ♥
and thank you sufi for starting off the very meaningful 'to my fellow classmates' debrief today! it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise so love love love!

-i dont see any spirit here..
-i cannnot attend the sundays trainings..
-i must reach home by 4.30 every weekdays..
-my dad dont allow me to go all this things cos he dont know what is secondary school.. he only school until pri 6, that one also never take PSLE.. so i hope u all understand and excuse me!
***you know, the practice for the cheer audition, how i fought with him.. i tried my very best and he said, after this, he want no more of all this nonsense..

Reply: Disgusted Classmate and others who think like that
Could I have a simple say?
Ok. To the disgusted 'classmate'
All you saw that happened on that unfortunate sunday was just the front. I mean, that was all you saw. The thing you saw was the person who led you guys to finals. But have you ever thought of the one behind the scenes? The one behind the scenes had to work to find cheers and more stuffs. But all you cared was the person who led you to finals. Then the one behind the scenes? Yes. That doesnt matter. At least I'm helping you to gain class points. Then? What else talk you have got?
I mean like really. My heart totally fall off after reading that post by the disgusted classmate. During the point of time on sunday, I knew i wasnt in the wrong. Cos i knew i wasnt the one showing ego
Yes its true that we took some time to get serious but.. we had to plan. w/o any plan nth is going to work out. Then why doesnt the person who led u all to finals understand that. I know i called her to practice NICELY. Those who dont understand the meaning of this word NICELY, please refer to the dictionary. And some of then saw. What really pissed me off was how the person replied. I mean c'mon at least we got smth laid out and now im asking u to come practise and then why show that face? who wouldnt' get pissed off with that reaction that she showed me? Havent any of you put yourselves in my shoe. All you bother, in the end, was still about the person who led you all to finals. Im really utterly upset by the post.
So now it all seems so stupid.
Nobody wants to turn up for cheer prac? Why can't we do it? Just because the person who led you all to finals backed off, why dont you want to trust and put your souls in the one who worked behind these scenes? Why? We're all classmates right? Why is everyone scattered everywhere just because one person backed off? Im trying really hard to put back everything in place. Im your classmate too right?
If you're disgusted, then im sorry too. Im disgusted too.
But most imptly, im upset. Really upset.. The words really made me felt guilty that maybe the reason for the break up of our class is because of me.. But then i thought, why would i want to be guilty when i hadnt done anything wrong? If telling one of my classmates to stop showing her attitude is wrong, then this is an utterly stupid class filled with plain dopes. Im sorry for being so rude but thats what u make me think of.
We still got two days. I hope the cheer comes out well, at least if we're not first let us at least try our best not to embarrass ourselves.. Thats the best we can do.. I just hope everyone the best

Are you game?
Hey teammies.
It's now 2.56am in the morning now and thought just keep running through me..
Was unknowingly watching at 4B's class cheer practices video.
I think it's pure bliss that the class doesn't treat it as a competition at all (though the audition from the date of filming was just 2 days away) and it's apparent, really apparent how they are just enjoying it very very much.
Here's our version. Enjoy!

As a person who's seeing things happen before me, you have to agree with me that ever since 4B 'surrendered' for Sports Day and missed the cheers finals by an inch's distance, 4C's been a little scattered.
You know, scattered as in when you are tasked to grab green beans in one palm and the red ones in the other and then you trip unknowingly.
It will take long for you to classify them into their right groups once more.
Because there's the emotional burden.
You were so confident that you could get all of them safely into the cooker.
But all's lost.
Cox you're already afraid of the falling happening again.
And now, we're talking about 4C.
The one class that cheered so loudly and got really gay when the cheapskate rice crackers and chocolates for getting first in the hamper wrapping competition.
The other class that who was so so so determined to let the 'achievements' list on the testimonial to endlessly flow.
Then thudddd d d d d d d d d d d.
I'd tell you we're going too fast.
Misunderstandings.
Verbal exchanges over the slightest things.
Priorities.
SPIRIT.
Mentally, we've failed.
Together.
But still, we'll take it as a cause for celebration.
We're still together, though true enough we've fell.
I trust that you don't need 'Dealing with Failure for dummies' isn't it.
Did you see how the Teacher-Student race go on that other day during the Heats?
Some of them ran 100m, some 200m and some 300m..
Some of them ran with the wind.
Some of them fell.
But out of those who fell, nobody chose to sit there and think about life.
All of them got back onto their feet again.
They knew very well the next track already was ahead of them.
But they still decided to do so.
Because they have the aspiration to keep passing the baton forward.
It doesn't matter if I win or not, it's just about finishing it.
And not letting anybody down.

Then there's still hope.
So we can keep going.
As long as we are together.

Actually, the video was whipped up in less than an hour's time.
I don't mind.
Posed no biggie or trouble for me as it's what I'm passionate about and hence all's fine.
Was the processing on YouTube which caused the delay of this post which was supposed to be up last midnight.
But point is,

what is 4C
A week ago,we were champions.But yet we fell so easily.
On sunday.we saw a fall out.
One thing led to another and the main point is,what's a class when not everyone is together?
each and everyone of us has different views on little things and big things,this is what makes us,us.But we should also know that to work with others,we have to put aside our differences,am I not right?
You may tell others,we are united,they may be fooled but no we aren't.
So when one of you suggests a day and place to meet and one says he or she is unable and you say "aiya don't care lah,thats your problem", how would you feel if you were the person.It shows that they couldn't even bothered to care about the person,weather they come or not.And there are even more hurtful ones like"it doesn't matter because you come or dont come also no difference" like who are you to say such things?
It dosent matter?Aren't you insensitive.This kind of attitude is not at all the attitude of a united class.And also nisa,the person who got us all together also the one who led us into getting into the finals if your heartless souls have already forgotten was shooed away last sunday.I mean after all she is a part of the class,but yet nobody cares,I mean who are you people.
I used to think that you were great people but today,I am disgusted with your behaviour.I don't care what you are but in my eyes,you are empty souls.
Forget about class cheerleading and whatever comes thereafter,we haven't got the so called "class spirit" that everyone's been faking.

TOTAL RANDOMNESS
Heloo guys, Shan here.
I've decided to post something since its been so tedious, HAHA.
Like you know, tomor's Sports Heats and I wish everyone whose taking part to break a leg! For those who are not running, start on with cheer. Don't delay since we missed alot of cheer pracs.. Other classes are catching up so we gotta be careful and to buck up on our confidence level. I hope to see everyone tomor at the stadium so we could like practice as a class!
Weeehooo like finally!
The class tee is beautiful, thanks to the second pretty, HAHA. Bixuan I mean. Hope everything else goes on smoothly and seems like Elaine so wants to decorate the class noticeboard for the competition, HAHA. Well hope ya best of luck! I've got nothing else to have a say about..

class tee
speaking of which, i hope you guys have a rough idea of everything already.
the comments which i gathered from during the hour physics intensive were absolutely great, thank you very much. not so constructive for some (ie those which went like Happy Chinese New Year yeah!) but in an overall view i hope all you managed to feel that a voice was given to you regarding this.
all in all, i have tried the bestest to organise (my thoughts) to fit the minority and here goes..

for that matter, i hope that we can finalise colours and all by this coming friday and send it for the prints by then as well. yeap. lets think big.

SPORTS HEATS, CHEERS
| Hey you 4C. Shan here. Gotta make this quick annoncement to all.. Sports heats is on the following Thurs which would fall on 19/02/09, which would be fast coming. I received news that there is no 4 by 400 meters race this year. They're taking it off .. So left with the other races.. I think they're still carrying out the 1500m and 800m .. As said, everyone in our class would be running for those two as many of you said so. So please don't back off.. We need to collect as much participation points as we could. As for the less active people in our class, don't be a lackluster and at least participate in the cheer if you don't want to run for the other individual race excluding 800 &1500m.. We all want the cheer to be a good one. At least, word hard for these few days as the cheer audition date won't be very faraway.. It should be falling on the week after next and we have to be at least ready by this coming week.. Which starts from tomor onwards. So those who can't make it, please ask around and catch up on what we have done so far. Don't bother about choosing songs and all .. If we get our arses into the finals then we'll do further planning.. As for now. let's just stick to the 6 cheers and buck up on the steps and formations since we have not concentrated on them ... We'll stick up with some easy formations and project our voices to the loudest and give our best shot on the audition. I don't think you guys want to embarass yourselves like you did last year. So please keep last year's 'performance' as a lesson in mind and do our best since this is our last year in school and we're graduating.. So let's all have and fun and get into deep shit during this period of the year! I believe everyone has a copy of the cheers.. So please try memorising it.. And for others if you want to contribute your ideas .. please do so.. there's no restrictions for it.. But if your cheer is really good then we'll save that for the finals. |
Keep your ideas and tags flowing as we'll accept critics and comments with pleasure.
Lastly, for the class TEE.. We still hadn't decide the colour though the designs' all set to print. Here's the following colours I've heard so far:
Choices in bulletins:
- Black base with green designs
- Green base with white designs
- Green base with black designs
- White base with green designs
- White base with red designs
- White base with turqoise designs
Those in bold are the more-likely ones to be chosen. So please make a quick decision as we need it at least before Sports which I think its quite possible. As for the necks of the tee, some are wanting it to be v-neck while the minority wants it to be round neck.. Please decide fast too yeah? :D
I guess these is all I gotta have a say about.

Alright the thing with shared blogs is that it gets dead pretty soon....so!
we should keep posting things about our class,things related to our class or anything for the matter.
Okay back to the tittle,class cheer.
I think that our class cheer is rather old school don't you think.I mean well its good and all but like mr tan said, other classes have done some of that stuff before,all that the stomping thing and stuff.Its like our whole cheer is a stomping game.I don't mean to be a wet blanket and stuff do come up with some interesting ideas yeah!And mix em all up!(if you want me to contribute some ideas do tell me so that I could write some.)
Think of like skills you already have like dancing skills or something like that.And add them in.imagine yourselves as the judges and picture how we would look like when doing our cheer.Please don't just stomp away!

in the spotlight
4c is in the spotlight!
so anyway that was taken during the much highly anticipated chinese new year celebrations. achievements are already starting to flow in aslate early as in january! class spirit has definitely improved by the leaps since the 3c times. guess it's the environment that is being set now- now or never.
here's the fyi in case you're really interested in the going. our achievements. for classroom decoration, we lost to secondary 4g who emerged victory but all's fine as long as 4b didn't HAHAHHA. so it's second for us. it was really great to see how the class got together you know. i bet you'd never guessed that many of us who appears to be cold are actually bustling with passion and enthusiasm to help out in every other way possible. am very proud of ourselves all the same! now here's the big deal. this blog's owners won landslide for the hamper wrapping competition! it was an out of the extraordinary vivid and die-die-must-win win. food, canned or not, vacuum-packed, packaged were fast filling the shelves of the metal cupboard at the coldest corner of the class, just two days after the appeal, the bottom two shelves (and they were considerably tall in height mind ya) were already crowded with plastic bags from sheng shiong, shop and save, 7eleven and mostly from the place you have the whole world in your hands.
now go 4c, we foresee! stay around for the class tshirt version 2 and you may make a vote of your choice after that :) but for now, just know that you are reading a champion class's bloggie.
for those of you who missed during the passing at physics intensive today:
Class Logo V1 - more or less confirmed
Front V1 - a little bit more of alignment and editing and we're done
Back V1 - 'CREW' aligned to center, large and bold, names all pulled down by a few centimeters.
